I don’t know about you but sometimes I find things baffle me. Things that are completely and utterly confusing. The latest was this book at the doctor’s surgery this morning. It was all about a little boy called Meno who was looking for a new friend. I’m sure there is some broader joke I’m missing, but seriously: WTF? At least it helped us pass the time.

It’s been very slow on the blogging front this month, although there have been proof of life posts over on Facebook. We’ve been sick – Elena and I have ear infections, Hugo’s had croup and now is on antibiotics for a dodgy ear/chest combo too. Even Alex is feeling unwell. This is one mean bug.

It feels like not much has been happening but do I have a lot to share – we’ve made changes around the house and the garden. I’m almost finished unpacking boxes. There has also been lots of knitting and crochet – most the finished products are gifts, however, and I’ll need to wait until they’ve been given before I can share.
