I’m a stay-at-home mum to two little ones. They keep me busy. I try and squeeze the most out of our days, but this means I often end up working on projects when I probably should be doing housework or something else domestic.
This blog helps me keep in touch with my friends overseas, and people who share my love of knitting, crochet, sewing and cooking….or, said simply, craft, food and motherhood!
I love to hear from people who read the blog, so please leave a comment to let me know you’ve been by. I can be contacted at ruthplustwo@gmail.com.
Lovely to ‘meet’ another fan of Bendigo Woolen Mills! I have tried out a few of their wool range, nice to know that you are happy with their cottons as well!
Love your blog – can’t wait to read more 🙂
your babes are so sweet! i’ve got one on the way (my first), and i’m finding all of your posts inspiring…and it’s reassuring to see that a busy mom with two little ones can still find some time to sew and create 🙂
I won’t lie. The cleanliness of our apartment certainly suffers sometimes! It is possible though…
Q – My husband gave a bumper sticker to me years ago that says: Boring Women Have Immaculate homes. My kids gave a magnet to me that says: A clean house is the sign of a misspent life. LOL! They are still on my ref even though the kids have been grown and gone for quite a few years.
Love it. I definitely need one of each of those. My house is not (ever!) immaculate…so I must not be boring, right?
Too true! 😎
Love your baby knits.

Thanks, Claire – it’s so sweet of you to have thought of me. I’ll have to put my thinking cap on and pass it on!
Catching up on the blog, lovely! Is there anything you can’t do????
Oh Ruth you are an inspiration. Your blog is a ray of sunshine when I need it. You are a super mum!!!
Firstly, you should see me before coffee. Secondly, you should see the pile of washing I need to fold!! No super-mumming here 🙂
Oh I don’t class that sort of stuff as a supermum. I couldn’t do it before children and certainly can’t after!!!
Lovely blog. I’m glad to have found you.
BB
Thank you for stopping by – I hope I’ll see you again soon 🙂
Hi Ruth, I have just had a quick look round. Your blog looks great.
