Monday, happy Monday

And so it’s Monday again. In complete opposition to most of the working world, I’m finding myself yearning for Mondays. Mondays signal the start of the slower part of my week. They mean time to potter around and attend to things that need doing, cuddles with Hugo without worrying about Elena feeling left out, and, just maybe, a little something fun on the side.

Today though, I have some new tasks to tackle because we’ve sold our apartment. Thank goodness!

IMG_0042 frWe now have a month to get organised before we move into our house. I’m beyond excited to make the move. Being in our house means no more dragging two children up four flights of stairs, a garden, much more space, a decorating opportunity and my very own sewing space. I can’t wait! I am a little daunted by the logistics of moving, though. I see a long to-do list in my future.

There’s also some sewing and knitting in my plans for this week. The weather has turned nippy (we had a low of 4°C (39°F) overnight) and Elena’s all out of warm clothes for child care. I’m also hard at work knitting a little cardi for a little someone special.

Yes! Congratulations, thats awesome! Having more space is just so much easier with children. Especially with fewer flights of stairs. I hate stairs. Good luck packing and getting everything done!

  3. Sounds like my kind of Monday! Good luck with the move 🙂

I didn’t realise your new place would include a sewing space! Ah, that’s the dream…a backyard, no stairs and a sewing space!
    YAY!
