Knitting today, grommets tomorrow

I hope you all had a good weekend – we had a great Saturday, but Sunday was all downhill. Hugo split his lip and goodness know what got into Elena. She was not a well behaved girl. Neither of them had naps. Enough said.

Check out this magnet I was given yesterday. I think someone knows me well, right? Such a good laugh on what turned out to be a bit of a rough day.

photo(26)Are you still working away on any Christmas craft? I am dismally behind on all of my sewing plans. Seems the year for it, around here. Although, something must be wrong – my house isn’t clean either! I’ve at least got to finish off our Christmas stockings.

Hugo had his first night in his own room last night and I’m very, very happy to report that we got a full night’s sleep (well, until 5.30am – but we’ll take it). I wonder if he’ll repeat the same tonight?

My latest knitting project is blocked with buttons on. I dyed the yarn for this one myself.

cardigancardigan 2We have Elena’s grommets surgery tomorrow. Cross your fingers for us.

Wow – that is absolutely gorgeous. And good luck tomorrow – hopefully recovery will be speedy. 1.75 years was worse than 11 months but nowhere near as bad as 2.5 years and tonsils and adenoids to boot! If that is at all comforting.

Thank you! I wonder where 2.5 years first time around sits on that spectrum? I’ve been explaining we’re going to the hospital to see the ear doctor and have a sleep…and then some breakfast. Hopefully that works!

    Crossed! All the best xx

Good luck tomorrow, we’ll be thinking of you 🙂 the perspective of breakfast should surely do the trick?!
