We’ve got ourselves a tree and started decorating it, and put a few other little things up around the place. Elena was excited about the tree, but more excited that Santa might leave something under it for her. It’s finally beginning to feel a bit like Christmas.

We had an unexpectedly productive day here – tree buying, a family working-bee to get the formwork to extend our chicken coop concrete slab started, setting up a frame to support our ancient grapevine, and planting out some new seedlings (pumpkins, cherry tomatoes, baby carrots and spring onions…let’s see which survive the slaters).
