Earlier in the year I participated in the covert robin, a crafty swap. Some of you may recall that I knitted a cowl for Ally (Quilting Mumma) and recieved a lovely change caddy and a coffee cup holder from Jenya (While she was sleeping).
I was lucky enough to win one of the random participation prizes from the clever Clover & Violet – a gift certificate to Sew Lux Fabrics. Things got mixed up and forgotten all over the place with the drama of the last few months, but I’ve finally ordered and received the fabric and I’m feeling very lucky.
I don’t have much of a boy fabric stash, so that’s where this is heading. How cute are the prints? The prints are from the Scoot and Apple Jack ABCs ranges. I couldn’t resist the chevrons – I see them all over blog-land and want to experiment.
I’ve some NICU preemie gowns in my future (I’ll be blogging some soon, just as soon as I’ve put the finishing touches on them) and maybe a cute Oliver + s sun hat for Hugo this summer. And then….well, I’ll have to think about it.
A big thanks again to imagine gnats for running the covert robin swap, to the other co-hosts and to Clover & Violet for sending some fabric love in my direction!
PS: Remember how I said we had a two year old set to ‘busy’? Yep. We’re still there.
Olivia has the same Carters jacket that Elena (sp?) has!
I am really impressed with your craftiness. Where do you find the time? Or energy for that matter!?
I wonder how much it costs to ship to Canada. I’d totally hire you to make some stuff for my two…
Sewing and knitting keep me sane 🙂 i mostly knit in the evenings while we watch TV, and sneak a little sewing in while the kids nap…
I’d be happy to make something for your two – I’m sure we could work something out 🙂
Oh goodness, I would LOVE it if you would make something for my two!! Let me know your ideas/thoughts and price. =)
I will email you!
You deserve all the luck in the world. And your NICU gowns are divine. Hopefully our teeny-tiny little bundle will get better so she can finally wear one!
You are the fabric whisperer Ruth! What I would die to see is a Richard Scarry fabric. We were obsessed when little-ies.

Beautiful fabric! What fun to work with 🙂
