In threes, in lake

I’m happy to report I’ve finished my first birthday present, in threes in lake. I won’t write much because I’ve written about this pattern before. As always, it was a smooth and easy knit. My biggest difficulty was finding the time to get it done! The nuts and bolts of the project are: Bendigo Woollen Mills Luxury 10 ply in the lake colourway with buttons from a local fabric store.

All blocked and ready to go.

Little knits are just so satisfying!

I do love working with the Luxury 10 ply – it’s so lovely and soft and I find it knits up evenly. I am getting sick of this colour though. I have another little baby boy knit to blog after I gift it and guess what? It’s also in lake! I must have purchased a good proportion of the dyelot. I think I still have a ball or two in my stash.

I’m still crocheting squares for Woollies for Tassie in my spare moments, and am trying to convince myself to iron my recently purchased flannel and start cutting out some Bedtime Story Pajamas for Elena.

    Hi Ruth
I too have knitted using 10 ply luxury wool – lake. My daughter loved the little jacket I made for her baby so much she asked for another one. Thought I had enough wool left but ran out with just the collar and bands to do. If you have any oddments left in this colour would you consider selling a small amount to me so I can finish the jacket?

    Best wishes

    Maggie
