The last few weeks have been a little chaotic to say the least.
I’ve managed to get a little craft done, and I thought I might share some of my latest projects.
I’ve knitted a sweet little cardigan for Elena.
It will be finished (and I will show you properly) just as soon as I can sew on the buttons.
I’ve also been working on a baby blanket. I had such a hard time picking a colourway for this blanket. I loved this colourway but it’s not particularly (traditionally speaking) gender neutral.
We didn’t find out the Bean’s gender during our morphology scan, but I had a feeling we were expecting a little boy. I decided to throw caution to the wind and start with this yarn.
Anyway, the gamble paid off!
We welcomed baby Hugo into the world on 29 December 2012. In the end he was 4.06kg (8lb 15oz), 53.5cm long and nine days late. He arrived relatively quickly and labour was straightforward.
He is just perfect.
As, of course, is my darling Elena who is adjusting beautifully to her new role as big sister.
So incredibly beautiful! Congratulations Ruth. xx
Congratulations on your new arrival! He is absolutely precious. Nice job on the blanket! Its neat how mommy instincts are very often right. =)
Perfect.
