It’s official. The Beyond Puerperium is my go-to baby boy gift knit. I’ve just cast on another for a children’s Secret Santa swap.

This is an internet-based swap so I don’t know what this little fellow’s complexion is like. I picked up some neutral grey DK yarn and navy buttons (which I now think will be too big!) at the Spotlight sale yesterday, and it’s coming together nicely.

I hope his mother likes it – you can never be sure with hand knits for little ones.

Speaking of the Spotlight sale, I was rather happy with the stash yarn I picked up…

…as well as some fabric for some Oliver + S projects.

And just one last picture for today. Elena has a new trick which stops my heart! She climbs up on a toy box and can’t get herself down…
